The Wazee Princess collection is composed of colorful designs made from up-cycled sari silk ribbon. Sari silk ribbon is crafted from the silk remnants gathered from the floor and bolt ends in the sari factories of India. These gorgeous strips of pure silk are sewn together end to end by Indian women's cooperatives that provide employment and living wages to local women. Each skein of ribbon is approximately 60 yards long and has beautiful variations of color due to its hand made nature.
The Wazee Princess necklace and earrings are now available in "rainforest", a combination of bright teal and various greens with a touch of purple.
